First Line Application Support Engineer

As a first line engineer in our service desk you will be passionate about cloud technology and work with our clients and consultants to assess, triage, resolve and escalate support cases where applicable.

You will receive support and training across our application technology stack including M365, SharePoint, Azure, Valo, Nintex, PowerPlatform and other technologies.

Role Duties & Expectations

  • Provide high quality cloud application support
    Triage and resolve application support tickets
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot complex solutions and research fixes from internal and external documentation sources
  • Provide clear advice and guidance to clients for resolving issues they face
  • Be seen as a trusted advisor on application issues and be able to communicate to every level within an organisation
  • Communicate with 3rd party providers including application vendors to resolve complex multi-party issues
  • Monitor and update support ticket queues with communication updates
  • Ensure workload is managed to deliver service within clearly defined SLAs
  • You will be assigned clear learning paths for your personal development areas and will contribute to attaining the relevant Microsoft certifications, aligned with our partner gold and silver competencies.

Skills, Qualifications, & Experience

  • Educated to an A Level Standard preferred
    Be able to show clear evidence of continual learning in your career to date
    Beneficial experience, skills and background for the role (but not required):
  • Industry recognised accreditations e.g. Microsoft
  • Experience of working with SharePoint Online as platform
  • Experience of PowerPlatform
  • Experience of Nintex or other workflow technologies
  • Experience with programming
  • Strong customer service experience with excellent communication skills
  • Exceptional organisation skills with superb attention to detail
